but rapidly swellable,
synthetic crosslinked
homopolymer of
polyvinylpyrrolidinone.
APPLICATION
CROSPOPHARM®
is a super-disintegrant
and dissolution
agent
in granules, capsules
and tablets prepared
by direct-compression,
by wet or by dry
granulation process.
Its main property
is its complete
insolubility in
all usual solvents.
CROSPOPHARM®
rapidly exhibits
high capillary
activity and pronounced
hydration capacity,
with no tendency
to form gels.
CROSPOPHARM®
can also be used
as a solubility
enhancer
for
poor soluble API,
suspension
stabilizer
and adsorptive
polymers.
The
particle size
of CROSPOPHARM®
can be adapted
to the pharmaceutical
application.
